My Girls by Willow Tree perfect for Father's Day

Dads are great, aren’t they? Whether you have been brought up by your biological father, another male member of the family like a grandad or uncle, or perhaps you just want to celebrate the positive male influences in your life, what better time to show your dad just how special he is on Father’s Day!

Willow Tree:

Like all Willow Tree figurines, artist Susan Lordi hand-carves the original figure from her studio in Kansas City, Missouri.  The pieces express themselves through gestures.  A simple tilt of the head or placement of hand allows the sculptures to speak in quiet ways.

This figurine is perfect for Dad’s celebrating their very first Father’s Day in 2019. Named ‘New Dad’, it features a male figure sitting down, cradling a baby in the small of his lap, head titled down as if gazing in wonder at his newborn child.

Of her work, Susan Lordi says: “"I try to keep the interpretation of Willow Tree open. I hope this makes it more personal and allows the viewer to decide its meaning." ‘New Dad’ is an extremely powerful piece, perfectly capturing the unconditional love and unbreakable bond between a father and his child.

As well as this figurine, we also have My Girls and Father and Daughter, which are perfect for Daughters who are searching for a meaningful gift that will be treasured for years to come.

Sharon Nowlan:

The Sharon Nowlan Collection uses nature as inspiration for immortalising precious moments in life.  For Sharon, it all started with a handful of pebbles; her son collected some at the beach one day and brought them to her in her studio.  They were like little treasures and she knew she had to make something special with them.

Years later, Sharon is still using pebbles in her creations, carefully crafting them into framed scenes in a simple, yet beautiful style, that say a lot with as little as possible – the art speaks to the heart and is open to interpretation by each person admiring her work, making them a very attractive and highly personal gift.

We just adore this piece called ‘How Does Your Garden Grow’. Reminiscent of nursery rhymes your dad may have sang to you as a small child, this framed piece depicts the scene of a male figure pushing a wheel barrow while tending to his garden – a perfect present if your dad has green fingers!

Disney Traditions by Jim Shore:

Everything the light touches is our kingdom. A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. One day, Simba, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.”

If your dad is just as wise as Mufasa, then this lovely figurine from Disney Traditions by Jim Shore will be the perfect gift for him this Father’s Day.

A Father’s Pride’ is the ideal gift for Dad's who always give the best advice and know exactly what to say to make everything okay. This beautiful figurine  features Mufasa and Simba as a lion cub playing together in the grass, with the young lion resting on his father’s back, and the lion king gazing up lovingly at his son, with his eyes full of pride.

Enchanting Disney:

Is your dad the head of an ‘incredible’ household? Is he the glue that holds everything together? Is he your very own super hero? If so, this piece from Enchanting Disney is quite literally an incredible gift for Father’s Day.

Featuring the family from Municiberg each with their own special powers in an epic battle of good versus evil, the ‘Everyone Is Special’ figurine carries a lovely sentiment to share with your dad, grandparents and other father figures!

Disney Showcase:

And last but my no means least… Howdy Partner! There’s a new sheriff in town and he’s just waiting come home with you this Father’s Day! This fantastic piece from our Disney Showcase Collection features everyone’s favourite cowboy from the smash-hit Disney Pixar franchise Toy Story. As the song from the movies go, You’ve got a friend in me, and what better to show your dad just how much your friendship means?
